Sycamore Mall Location

Reid joined his family's business in 1988. He is a ABO certified optician. Reid is the General Manager of McDonald Optical and is head-quartered at our newest location in the Sycamore Mall.

Downtown Iowa City Location

	Molly McDonald-Bell Molly is a second generation member of the McDonald family and has been at the downtown location since 1998. She is an ABO certified optician.
John Cayler John has extensive optical experience, having been in the business for nearly 20 years and is ABO certified. He joined the McDonald Optical family in 1995 and is currently working as our lab technician.
	Tera Washpun Tera has been in the optical business for 8 years and is an ABO certified optician. Tera graduated from The University of Iowa with her B.A. in Sociology in 2000. Tera joined the McDonald Optical family in 2003 at the Sycamore Mall location and has recently moved to our downtown location
Dee Link Dee has 30 years of experience in the optical industry and is a certified para-optometric assistant. She joined the McDonald Optical family in 2005.
	Travis joined the McDonald Optical family in 2005 though he brings with him two years in the optical industry. Travis graduated from Beloit College in 2000 with a B.S. in Molecular Biology and has graduate training in optometry at Ohio State University and biology at Duke University.
Iona

Sycamore Mall Location

	Linda McDonald Linda, John's wife, began working in the optical business in 1986. Linda is also ABO certified.
Christy Smith Christy began in the optical industry in 1998. She has worked as an optician and contact lens technician at the Sycamore Mall location since January of 2002. Christy is also ABO certified.
	Suzette Suzette has been with McDonald Optical since August 2002 and has over 5 years of optical experience. She is ABO certified and spends most of her time at the Sycamore Mall office.
Melissa Melissa has been in the optical industry since 2001 and joined McDonald Optical in 2002. She worked at the Sycamore Mall, downtown, and the UIHC locations since she joined McDonald Optical. She is also ABO Certified.

Cedar Rapids Location

Joan Kick

Joan Kick joined the McDonald Optical family bringing with her over 25 years of optical experience. Joan will receive her ABO certification this year. You can find Joan in our Cedar Rapids office.

University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics Location

Kimberly Caldwell Kim was a 1998 graduate of Wartburg College with a B.A. in both biology and religion. Kim became an optician after graduation and joined the McDonald Optical family in 2003.
	Becky Becky joined the McDonald Optical family in August of 2002. She started as an apprentice of Dr. Parsons and shortly thereafter joined the McDonald Optical family as an Optician.
